I may not have always known the intricacies of my walk with Christ, but I have always known that there was a hunger and a thirst in me to make a difference. However, the perceptions that I had of myself have expanded exponentially and evolved with greater clarity as I move not by my power, or might but by The Spirit.
Like Joseph, I have been in The Pit. I am not yet at my Palace, but the steps of a righteous woman are fashioned, controlled, ordered, ordained, established, guided, protected, led and steered by The Lord.
When PURPOSE comes knocking, you must respond. Even if you don't feel ready, like Samuel, you must reply boldly by stating, "Yes, Lord, speak, thy servant listens."
Even if you don't know the end result say, "YES LORD!"
Trust me, no one scripturally has ever regretted doing as The Lord instructed, not even Abraham who almost sacrificed his son.
If Purpose has called you, how do you stay true to what you know, The Lord has called you to do, even though you may not see the fruits of your labour immediately?
STRATEGIES TO STAY GROUNDED/ROOTED/ PLANTED FIRMLY IN YOUR PURPOSE.
1. Stay grounded in The Word.
Jeremiah 29:11 states, " For I know the plans I have for you, declares The Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
2. Iron sharpens iron ( Proverbs 27:17). Hang around like minded people who are as or even more purpose driven than you are.
3. Pray continuously to receive greater clarity about what is needed to be done and the steps you should take and direction to shift, when necessary, in order to fulfil your purpose.
4. Always position yourself to learn so you can grow more spiritually, intellectually and emotionally. The disciples never left Jesus' side. They watched him and when the time was right, they performed the same miracles he did.
5. Read content that motivates you to aspire to be greater. Reading this blog post, is a great step in the right direction 🤗
6. Sever all ties with NAYSAYERS. Surround yourself with those who have the same faith as you. Learn from Jesus' example; when he was raising Jairus' daughter from the dead, no one entered the house with him except Peter, John and James and of course the child's parents.
If people don't have faith in you, they will not be able to help you raise your purpose from the dead!
7. Keep your eyes on Jesus. He is faithful. Remain faithful to HIM as you rise and succeed.
